Andrew Kent worked for Denbigh for the past six years. As far as fine art technicians go, he is among the best of the best. It might have something to with the meticulous attention to detail and tenacity which he displays in his own works of art.
Kent’s exhibition Epiphora is at the Burrard Arts Foundation until December 16th. It is a collection of seascapes that they describe as, ‘painstakingly detailed.’
“The viewer’s bobbing, back-and-forth motion that causes the image to appear and disappear is reminiscent of the ebb and flow of tidal waters, and the shifting mutability of perception itself.”
